Match Day 3; Battle lines drawn at the log Apex and Nadir

Top of the table clash on Sunday evening pitting second placed Wazalendo, against defending champions, Butali will be the highlight action as the hockey season gets into it’s third weekend. Two points separate the sides and win for Wazalendo would take them top. A win for Butali on the other hand will take them five points clear. 

But police are keeping tabs on the two top sides and might go top themselves should they win their match against Sailors at City Park on Sunday. Only a single point separate the third placed Police and the 5th placed Sailors and a win for either will be a crucial boost to their title challenge. 

At the bottom side of the table, Greensharks and Sikh union will be seeking to register their first wins of the season when the two sides faceoff on Saturday evening. Both teams have played twice so far this season but are yet to collect a single point. 

Two matches will be served In the Women Premier league. Both matches are scheduled for Saturday with University Of Nairobi Ladies taking on Kenyatta University ladies from mid day while defending Champions, Strathmore university will take on DFG Wolverines from 2pm. 

UON and KU sit at the bottom of the table having lost all their opening matches(UON 2 and KU 1). Strathmore on the other hand are at the apex of the log will seek to solidify their title defense with a win over 5th placed Wolverines.
